Spring 2009 kicks off our annual Walk for Wishes throughout Central Florida at the following locations:
Gator Walk for Wishes - Gainesville 2/28/2009
Lake Walk for Wishes - The Villages 3/8/2009
Osceola Walk for Wishes - Celebration 3/21/2009
Orlando Walk for Wishes - Lake Eola 3/26/2009
Teams will compete to see who can raise the most money to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Participants will enjoy complimentary food and beverages, great music, prizes, and much more!
The Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of Central and Northern Florida grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Since 1994, the Foundation has made wishes come true for over 3200 special children across Central and Northern Florida. These children and their families are dealing with doctors, hospitals, and an overwhelming uncertainty about what tomorrow will bring.
